In a statement published by
the company, Mars One said only 705 candidates remains from a pool of thousand
applicants. A panel interview will decide who qualifies to colonize Mars on
2024. Each selected person will undergo astronaut training before they begin
their journey to the red planet.
Mars one aims to create a
permanent human settlement on Mars.
