5 Philippine Universities made it to the top 300 Asian Universitites

QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) recently released the list of the top 300 excelent universities in Asia. Included on the list are 5 Philippine Universities.

The criteria used to determine the the bests universities are:
1.   Academic peer review (40%)
2. Recruiter review (10%)
3. Faculty student ratio (20%)
4.Citations per faculty (20%)
5. Citations per faculty (20%)


The 5 Philippine Universities who made it to the top list are:1.
1. The University of the Philippines

      UP tied with Inha University of South Korea at rank 68
and as of 2011 it ranked 332 worldwide

2. Ateneo De Manila University

     ADMU  ranked 86 and ranked 360 worldwide

3. De La Salle University

     DLSU ranked 142 and ranked 551-600 worldwide

4. University of Santo Tomas

     UST ranked 148 and ranked 601+ worldwide

5. University of Southeastern Philippines

     USEP ranked 251-300, USEP did't make it to the worldwide rankings
