Dispute over Pag-asa Island
After claiming Scarborough Shoal, now China seems to claim Pag-asa Island as Theirs. A report i have heard from a local Philippine news last night. It is said that China does not agree with the launching of a new Elementary school in the said island named "Pag-asa Elementary School. Pag -asa Island is located at the west Philippine sea, and a part of the Philippine territory according to the Constitution.
The Philippine Government said that Pag-asa Island is officially a part of Philippine Territory and vows to aid for the things needed by the said School
China, on the other hand, warned that the kindergarten school may only aggravate the territorial dispute in the Spratlys Islands, where Pag-asa belongs.
